Beads of Courage (www.beadsofcourage.org) is an arts-in-medicine program that supports children coping with serious illness and encourages them to use beads as meaningful symbols of courage to commemorate milestones they've achieved throughout their treatment. Check out the beads I've made to donate to this amazing organization - Beads of Courage! There are other ways to donate and get involved as well, check out how you can help by CLICKING HERE!

Session B Week 1 just ended and things are going great! My campers have been making some really awesome pieces - mostly beads and sun-catchers for now. Check out the downloadable file below to see the most recent Camp Highlander BLT (the camp's newsletter). I wrote the first article ("Glass in the Bead Shack") and included some pictures of my campers and their glass work. I've also started working on beads that I'll be donating to Beads of Courage (www.beadsofcourage.org).
